Partner Institutions

SELA is an annual gathering that brings together scholars from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Paraguay, Perú, Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States to discuss a selection of the participants' current research, often with a preference for themes particularly relevant to circumstances in the host country. While the specializations of the members covers much of the legal horizon, most projects relate in one way or another to the role of legal institutions in upholding and reinforcing democratic principles and the rule of law.
